Marissa Williams
Marissa is a current college freshman attending Grossmont College in San Diego California. Marissa has lived in San Diego for the past 4 years in which she restarted her life as not just a survivor of domestic violence, but a thriver. Through her work with Storytelling, the California Partnership against domestic violence as well as speaking with California Legislators on Orange day, Marissa is working to shed light on this heavy topic that not only impacts adults but youth as well. By telling her story she hopes to inspire other youth that have, or are going through similar experiences, to show there is a happy future waiting for them.
